Is the Capital Becoming a More Dangerous Place to Live?

If you analyse the statistics, in this regard, they may very well indicate that London is actually not as dangerous today as it was at certain times in the past. However, these statistics must be considered ambiguous, at best, and there are ways in which the capital is a very dangerous place to live nowadays.

More and more companies are having to look for the services of a security guard London just to protect their stock and employees and as a consequence, this really is going to make any product or service more expensive.

There are a couple of reasons why London is not considered as safe today. At the top of this list must be the gang culture that is becoming increasingly prevalent in all of your major cities. South London is notoriously bad in this regard and the Police have a long way to go to tackle this problem.

One thing is clear here and that is that the government desperately needs to introduce legislation that bans any such gang from forming. Any legal groups (e.g. youth clubs) need to be strictly controlled through local authorities and the police.

Then, known to be connected with the gang cultures, we have the fact that the old Labour government had an open-door policy as far as immigration was concerned. This led to a huge number of criminals entering the UK from countries that are known to experience the highest problems with drug crime and violence (e.g. Jamaica and Nigeria) and many of these have entered our borders illegally.

As a result of such failures in protecting the borders of this country, the public bodies involved have a very long way to go to make this a country that is as safe to live in as it should be.
